Still consuming fish oil to get your Omega 3? Did you know that fish don’t make Omega 3 fatty acids? Fish get their Omega 3 from Algae that they consume. So why get your Omega 3 from the middleman when you can get it straight from the source?

Organicule’s Algae Oil Omega 3 is derived from Schizochytrium sp., a unique marine microalga that produces EPA & DHA. Unlike Fish oil, Algae oil is a cleaner source of Omega 3, and it is also a more sustainable source that is toxic free and is environmentally friendly.

The health benefits of Omega-3s EPA and DHA are extensively documented. Research shows they support brain and cognitive function, a healthy heart, joint mobility, eye health, and normal immune system function. Omega-3s are essential fatty acids used by multiple systems in your body. Your body can’t produce Omega-3 on its own, so you must get it from food or a supplement.

Algae oil is also better absorbed than fish oil. This is because the DPA and DHA are in the triglyceride form rather than the ethyl ester form found in many fish oil supplements. Unlike traditional fish oils that are often unsustainably harvested and at risk to contain contaminants like mercury, PCBs or pesticides that can accumulate in a fish's tissue, our Algae oil is sustainably grown on a farm and is 100% removed from toxins commonly found in the ocean.

Dosage: Adult : 1 capsule once daily after meal.

Shelf life: Approximately 12-24 months.

FOR ADULT

For adults, 1 capsule once daily after meal.

1. What is Algae oil?

Algae oil is the polar-lipid portion extracted from two strains of algae. Providing omega-3 fatty acids EPA from one strain and DHA from a second strain, both bound to phospholipids and glycolipids, with carotenoids, omega-7, and chlorophyll.

2.How is Algae Oil different from Fish Oil?

The only reason that fish contain Omega-3 is that fish eat algae. Therefore, the good fatty acids which we need originate in algae and not in fish. So why should we intake fish oil capsules? We can very easily remove this extra step in our Omega-3 food chain and obtain the fatty acids directly from algae instead of from fish. Algae oil capsules have the following advantages compared to fish oil capsules:

1. Sustainable choice: you are not contributing to over-fishing and unnecessary by-catch;
2. 100% vegetable capsules, so also suitable for vegetarians and vegans;
3. Where fish oil must be cleaned of harmful substances, algae oil is pure in and of itself.

If you choose algae oil capsules, you are not only opting for your own health but also for a healthy fish population and a healthy environment
.

3. What is Omega 3?

Omega-3 fatty acids are a group of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs). ALA (Alpha Linolenic Acid) is an essential Omega-3 fatty acid. The body cannot make ALA itself, this makes ALA an essential fatty acid. It must be taken from food. The body uses ALA to form DHA and EPA, but this conversion takes place very limited in practice, so this actually makes DHA and EPA also essential fatty acids.

4. Is algae oil better than fish oil?

They both provide omega-3 fatty acids DHA/EPA. Although taking the bioavailability, antioxidant protection, source, regulations, true sustainability, and traceability of algae oil as a whole into consideration, versus fish oil we believe algae oil is the superior source of omega-3's today.

5. How long until I notice any benefits from algae oil?

This depends on how deficient your body is in omega-3s. When taking algae oil everyday benefits can be noticed as quickly as 2 weeks or as long as 3 months. Noticeable increase in omega-3s in red blood cells appears after at least 3 months of use.

6. Fish oil upsets my stomach, would algae oil work for me?

Algae oil is bound to glycolipids and phospholipids. Fish oil is bound to triglycerides. Phospholipids are water-soluble. Triglycerides are not water-soluble. This results in algae oil to be absorbed by the body much more efficiently (up to 5x more absorbable) than fish . Fish oil settles on the top of fluids in the stomach which may be causing your stomach issues, whereas algae oil starts to absorb immediately. This is also why algae oil does not give you the same ‘fishy burp-up’ aftertaste that you get from fish oil.

7. What are the benefits of consuming Omega 3 regularly?

For Health

1. Reduces the risk of heart problems.
2. Prevents chances of fatty liver.
3. Improves bone & joint health
4. Improves Cognitive health
5. Improves eye health

For Skin
